ADVIS is the executive search and talent intelligence practice of Fortress Media Limited, operating from Lusaka. Candidate and client records are held in Zambia. Every recruiter action is attributed to a named person and recorded.
Zambia-hosted by default
Candidate, recruiter and employer records are stored in our Zambia-hosted database. We do not move raw CVs offshore for ordinary processing.
Verified employers
Organisations receive a verified badge after we review registration documents and confirm a named point of contact.
Consent-first profiles
A talent profile appears in the marketplace only after explicit opt-in, and is removed from public listings when consent is withdrawn.
Decision audit log
Material recruiter and admin actions are written to an append-only audit log. Candidates may request a Subject Access Report.
Named accountability
Every recruiter action is attached to a named workspace identity. Candidates can see who viewed and who acted on their profile.
Right to be forgotten
Account deletion can be requested from the Rights Portal; we aim to purge identifying records from primary stores within seven days.

The documents below govern how ADVIS handles personal data. Last reviewed June 2026.
- • Privacy notice , what we collect, why, lawful basis and retention windows.
- • Data Processing Addendum (DPA) , available on request for employer engagements (trust@fortresszm.com).
- • Retention , applications kept for up to 18 months from last decision; audit log retained for 7 years; account deletion processed within 7 days of a confirmed request.
- • Sub-processors , managed database & storage provider, and Google (OAuth sign-in only, no profile sync).
- • Cross-border transfers , limited to anonymised, aggregated telemetry. Raw personal data is not routinely transferred outside the region.
